Hello! I’m Shannon, a natural light photographer located in Denver, Colorado specializing in Children & Families, Maternity and Newborn. I’ve spent the last 12 years capturing momentous milestones, documenting growing families and recording the everlasting bond of mother and child. I have a laid back approach with the ability to connect with each family member. My goal is to effectively guide you in order to capture those fun, relaxed, tender moments that you so badly want to hold onto. My heart is drawn to soft muted tones, neutrals and feminine textures, which allows the images to exude emotion and connection. I offer a high end unique experience focused on making the entire process smooth, straight forward & seamless.

If you`d rather stay in the comfort of your own home, I`m more than happy to come to you. There is something so special about documenting this season in the place where it is actually happening. Not only do we get to capture your family as you are right now, but we also get to preserve all of those little details that make this chapter unique—your baby`s nursery, the rocking chair where countless snuggles happen, tiny details you`ve spent months preparing, and the home where your newest memories are being made.
In-home newborn sessions have such a personal, storytelling feel to them, and they often become some of the most meaningful images to look back on years later.
If you`re expecting, be sure to reach out sooner rather than later! I only take on 4 newborn sessions each month to ensure every family receives the best possible experience.

One thing I hear all the time is, "I don`t know how you`ll manage all of us!" 😂
But honestly, I love big families. The energy, the personalities, the chaos, the laughter—it all makes for such fun and meaningful photos. Whether you`re a family of three or a family of ten, my goal is always the same: create beautiful images while making the experience feel easy and enjoyable for everyone.
I also love being able to capture so many different combinations during a session—siblings together, individual photos of the kids, mom and dad together, and of course plenty of images of the whole family. The more people, the more memories we get to preserve.
My garden mini sessions are the perfect opportunity for families this summer! They`re held in an easy-to-get-to location with plenty of room for little ones to run, explore, and be themselves, while still providing a gorgeous backdrop filled with beautiful blooms for timeless family photos.

I know I probably say this every time… but I truly love studio sessions so much 🤍 There’s something about slowing everything down, soaking in the little moments, and creating images that feel simple and timeless. No distractions, no pressure — just your family exactly as you are.
I also love how versatile studio sessions can be. We can focus on the whole family, get sweet individual photos of the kids, updated parent photos, sibling moments, or honestly a little bit of everything all in one session. They always end up feeling so cozy, relaxed, and meaningful to me.

Here’s what I have left for June: 6/15, 6/24, 6/29, 6/30. 30 minute session, $550 and includes the session fee and 5 digital images of your choosing.
